Early Embroideries

Hi,

This is my very first effort at silk ribbon embroidery. I learned from a very clever and well known embroiderer, Debbie Mercer.  She also held workshops in BE, Creative Embroidery, crazy patchwork, which i attended as well as all aspects of embroidery.


Debbie has online classes in creative embroidery.
She is now the resident teacher at All Threads Embroidery shop in Brisbane.  I will put a link up to her work when I get my good computer back which has the details.  

Debbie was my inspiration, and without her teaching ability and patience I doubt whether I would have come as far as I have.


This is the Brazilian Embroidery Deb designed  for us to embroider at the workshop.
